For those of us who’ve published at the height of Covid lockdown and now have paperbacks coming out, it’s a poignant and hopeful reminder of how much has happened in a year. And…the paperback is lighter, cheaper, and makes a lovely Mother’s Day gift! 

I sat down with wonderful Zibby Owens right before the city shut down and Covid hit us all hard, one year ago. I enjoyed our conversation immensely. That it was in-person seems like a strange and beautiful relic of another time. Here is the transcript and the audio.

I did a deep dive into books about cults, inspired by my own experience with a friend.

April 14th was St. Ivo’s official publication day and it was greeted with a gorgeous review in The New York Times. It is an incredible gift to receive a review that really sees the author’s intention in a complex way. I’m so honored.
